Job Description

Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days Location: Bengaluru Mode: Hybrid Experience in IBM AIX POWER LPAR/DLPAR technology and Virtual IO Server (NPIV, Virtual SCSI, Virtual Ethernet etc.). Experience in administering AIX systems and Linux systems consistent with best practices IBM AIX 6.x, 7.x and Red Hat Linux 6.x, 7.x.8.x Experience in administrating HMC server management. Experience in DC migration, Cluster failover and backup/recovery server Experience VIOS and adapter microcode, system firmware updates Performing decommission of VIOs / LPARS. Experience in Configuration and troubleshooting, H/w replacement. Experience in software installation and Patch management Strong knowledge of File system / Volume Management, LVM, VXVM RH LVM, NFS. Creating, modifying users as per the requirement, maintaining Linux based user's and groups setup ACL file permission. Create, automate, provision, and deploy LINUX AIX UNIX based operating systems / applications rapidly and. at a very large scale on both physical and virtual platforms Continuous Service Delivery Management, Change Order Creation and Management, Good communication with internal Business Units, SAP Application perf Manager, Stack Holders, and Vendors Ensure system stability, scalability, security, and performance Maintain systems by applying operating system updates, firmware packages, and security patches Manage systems to reduce incidents, decrease complexity, improve end-user experience, and increase stability of supported systems and processes Troubleshooting, configuring, and managing RHEL servers (Hardware, OS, Application, Performance) Having in-depth knowledge on disk management using LVM in AIX & Linux Solaris Admin and azure Cloud experience will be an added advantage
