Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Planning and Scheduling:
   • Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demands and deadlines.
   • Create daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
   • Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed.
2. Team Management:
   • Supervise and lead the production team, providing guidance and support.
   • Allocate tasks and responsibilities to ensure efficient workflow.
   • Conduct training sessions to enhance the skills of production staff.
3. Quality Control:
   • Implement and maintain quality control processes to meet product standards.
   • Conduct regular inspections of finished products and address any quality issues.
   • Collaborate with the quality assurance team to improve overall product quality.
4. Resource Management:
   • Manage raw material inventory to ensure continuous production.
   • Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for timely delivery of materials.
   • Optimize resource utilization to minimize production costs.
5. Safety Compliance:
   • Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all production staff.
   • Conduct regular safety audits and address any safety concerns promptly.
   • Collaborate with the Health and Safety department to implement and improve safety measures.
6. Continuous Improvement:
   • Identify areas for process improvement and implement efficiency measures.
   • Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for optimization.
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices.
7. Communication:
   • Liaise with other departments such as design, quality assurance, and logistics to ensure smooth production processes.
   • Provide regular updates on production status to management.
   • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure clarity of objectives.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Proven experience in garment production, with at least [X years] in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of garment manufacturing processes and quality control standards.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
