Job Description

As QAE III in the PV Core Subs Tech team, role requires driving strategically quality assurance of the backend services and UI components of Prime Video Subscriptions Org changes to enhance the customer acquisition and better retention. The product set owned by PV Core Subs Tech team includes SVOD, TVOD, Channels, Payment Parity with A.in, Payments Compliance, Tiering and Core subscription services including POPS and DAS. The role involves working with multiple host team in away team model involving tier1 and tier2 services located in India, London and Seattle and ensuring higher quality deliverables for PV India scope. This also involves contributing to the on-call support of prod tickets and doing QA on-call on rotation basis.
Key job responsibilities
The Senior Quality Engineer (QAE III) plays a pivotal role in orchestrating complex engineering projects to ensure quality deliveries and minimal disruptions for our customers. This role demands a proactive approach to communication, risk management, decision-making, and highlighting and addressing project quality assurance. Our QAE III operate at the intersection of business needs, customer centricity and people. Whether you're leading roll-outs, retrospectives, or post-launch support plans, your goal remains the same: excellence in execution and outcome. Strong understanding of testing methodology, techniques, automation frameworks and ability to communicate complex issues effectively. Proven ability in managing quality assurance of technology programs and ensuring delivery against program goals. Ability to collaborate effectively with SDM and product managers to secure scope and quality metrics expected from the projects and programs.
We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
Bangalore, KA, IND, - 6+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
- 4+ years of delivering test frameworks, test tools, leading the QA projects and initiatives experience
- Knowledge of QA methodology and tools, with demonstrated experience in an QAE role
- Experience in manual testing
- Experience in automation testing
- Experience scripting or coding - 2+ years of UI Automation (preferably on mobile platforms) experience
- Knowledge of at least one modern object-oriented programming language such as C++, Java, Objective C
