On April 14, 1981, in Honolulu, Hawaii, William "Bill" Melton incorporated his new tech company. The original intention was to provide a recourse for retailers who'd been swindled by people handing out bad checks. Position Summary - Redis DB Admin
- Install, deploy and manage Redis on physical and virtual machines.
- Create, configure and monitor large-scale, secure, RedisDB clusters
- Working experience on Redis Graph module.
- Support RedisDB in a high availability, multi-data center environment.
- Configure and monitor Redis DB instances using Redis Admin tool and knowledge on RedisInsight
- Experience on Redis database back and Restore process
- Knowledge on writing and executing Redis scripts
- Maintain database performance and capacity planning
- Write documentation and collaborate with technical peers online
- Performance tuning for high throughput.
Mandatory Skills
- DB : RedisDB, Redis Graph Module, Redis Admin tool, RedisInsight, Scripting
- OS : Linux
- Other DB Skills (at least one) : Big data technologies, NoSQL technologies, In-Memory Databases
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in RedisDB technology
- Overall 6+ years of experience in DBA role with hands-on in different linux based DB technologies
