Position Name - Senior Engineering Manager Location - Bangalore Experience Range - 9 -14 Yrs Mandatory Requirement: Should have a min of 8+ years of overall experience in Android and min 1 year of experience in driving performing appraisals. Have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Possess Extensive experience in Android and React Native application development, with a deep understanding of the Android platform, Kotlin, and Java. Have proven experience in a leadership or managerial role, with a track record of leading high-performing engineering teams. Job Roles and Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Manage and inspire a team of talented Android engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance, architectural vision, and hands-on expertise to the. Android development team. Product Development: Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to define feature roadmaps, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality Android applications. Code Quality: Oversee code reviews, architecture discussions, and ensure the team follows coding standards and best practices. Project Management: Develop and maintain project plans, allocate resources effectively, and track progress to meet project deadlines. Performance Optimization: Lead efforts to optimize Android applications for speed, responsiveness, and resource efficiency, utilizing profiling tools and performance analysis. Technical Problem Solving: Address complex technical challenges and provide guidance on architecture, performance optimization, and scalability. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including backend developers, QA engineers, and UX/UI designers to deliver integrated solutions. Mentorship and Development: Mentor team members, provide career guidance, and foster their professional growth. Qualification and Experience: Come with Strong knowledge of software engineering principles, including design patterns, architecture, and best practices. Have expertise in optimizing Android applications for performance and resource utilization. Have proficiency with profiling and debugging tools, as well as familiarity with CI/CD pipelines. Have excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Are passionate in staying up-to-date with the latest Android and mobile development trends and technologies.
