We are excited to offer an opportunity as a Sales Engineer within our dynamic sales and project team, situated in our Kochi office, India. As a Sales Engineer, the ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and play a pivotal role in supporting both our field sales and projects team. Key responsibilities include generating quotations using our quotation tool, addressing technical queries, managing orders within our ERP system, updating delivery schedules, and sharing delivery information with both colleagues and customers. Additionally, proficiency in comprehending technical drawings received from customers and the ability to markup drawings in AutoCAD to ascertain the scope of supply are essential aspects of the role. The Sales Engineer's responsibilities include becoming knowledgeable about Consilium Fire, Gas, and Flame products. Comprehending the Consilium system architecture, marking up drawings for FDS Scope, entering scope data into Tacton and recording orders in our ERP system (CERP/Movex). Responding to general technical inquiries via email and facilitating communication with the commercial and customer support teams is also a part of the role. Who are you This position holds significant importance in our overall operations, and we are actively seeking a dependable and dedicated individual with a proactive, can-do attitude. Proficiency in written and spoken English is highly desirable, along with proficiency in using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word. Familiarity with software tools such as Tacton, Lime, and ERP is a plus, as well as AutoCAD skills (which can be taught if necessary). A technical background in electrical engineering is also valuable, and the ability to work independently and as part of a technical team.
