Job Description

Responsible for monthly preparation of MIS and financial statements as per IND- AS. He should also ensure that MIS / Financial Statements are prepared with the correct cost center and responsible for the reconciliation of balances between different cost centers Responsible for monthly closure of books of accounts along with all month-end adjustments Coordinate with compliance team and consultant for timely filing of all statutory returns (including filing under the Companies Act, Labour Laws, FEMA, SEBI, IRDA, etc.) Co-ordinate with Actuarial and close quarterly actuarial report Must have knowledge of Lease Accounting, Share-based payment, Reward provisioning, Deferred tax Responsible for reconciliation of all month-end schedules with trial balances i.e. Account Receivable, Account Payable, Bank Balance, Investment, Fixed Assets, etc. Ensure monthly Financials will be reconciliation with all the notes & and schedule Indian Stock Business Daily Tasks: -Bank Recon. Reporting, -Withdrawal/Payout Authorisation, -Rewards Recon, -Raising requests to treasury/ banks on rejections etc. -Indian Stock ADHOC compliance tasks like (Net worth and other certificates, Interim Audits, etc.) Skill Set requirement: Minimum Experience: 4-5 years of experience Education: Only Chartered Accountant Prior experience working with a fintech company will be preferred Must possess strong domain knowledge and understanding of defined accounting standards(IND-AS)/practices, GL management, P&L statements, and MIS reporting. Advanced user knowledge of MS Office, and advanced Excel; working knowledge of Zoho accounting software will be preferred Good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills as the profile requires frequent interaction with cross-functional teams and management. Comfortable working in a start-up environment. The role requires you to be completely hands-on. Indian Stock Market conceptual knowledge will be preferred
