Role Description This is a full-time remote role for an AVP - Model Risk Management. The AVP - Model Risk Management will be responsible for performing model validation, development, and implementation of policies regarding model risk management. They will evaluate and identify opportunities for improvement in model risk management. They will work with cross-functional teams to oversee the implementation of model risk policies, and report findings to senior management. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field such as Mathematics. Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field. Minimum of 6 years of experience in model risk management or related field. Experience in programming languages such as Python, R, SAS, or MATLAB. Experience in statistical analysis, data mining, model development, and validation. Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining model risk management policies and procedures. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Experience with regulatory expectations for model development and validation. Master's degree or PhD in a quantitative field is a plus
