Company Description The Centre for Good Governance (CGG), Hyderabad was founded in 2001 by the Government of Andhra Pradesh in collaboration with the Department for International Development (DFID) and the World Bank. CGG provides professional advice and conducts change management programs to help government departments and agencies successfully transition towards people-centric governance practices. At CGG, we work closely with senior officials, management experts, institutions and other stakeholders towards transforming governance in the country. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Hyderabad for a Java project manager. As a Java project manager, you will be responsible for leading, planning, executing, and closing Java development projects. You will oversee a team of developers to ensure the timely completion of software projects. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying project risks, managing and resolving issues, and communicating project. status and progress to stakeholders. Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field is required. Total of 15 years of experience and a minimum of 12 years of experience in Java software development with at least 3 years of experience as a project manager is required. Experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies is required. Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills. Experience in managing a team of 5 or more developers. Working knowledge of project management tools such as Jira or Microsoft Project. Ability to identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects. Experience in delivering projects on time and within budget
