We are hiring a Level 2 - Sr. Systems Administrator to join our Networking technical tower within the Managed Services Operations team. The primary focus for this role is to monitor and respond to incidents and service requests within enterprise networking environments. Successful candidates will need a deep technical knowledge over a variety of technologies and passion for the customers success. What you will do: Install, configure, upgrade, maintain and support enterprise network infrastructure. Identify, diagnose, and resolve support issues related to network infrastructure Provide remote support and resolution via phone and or remote-control screen sharing software, or onsite working directly with internal and customer equipment. Produce, maintain, and update technical documentation. Monitor. performance of managed network infrastructure Optimizing and evaluating systems regularly Complete and update support tickets. Ensuring that the highest quality of service is provided to promote superior customer satisfaction. Bear high levels of responsibility: making decisions, being accountable. Maintain technical documentation, manuals and IT policies. What you will bring: Bachelors degree in an I.T. related field is preferred. 5+ years of total combined experience (Required) 3+ years of work experience with enterprise switching, routing, firewalls, load balancers, wireless controllers, and access points 3+ Experience with and the ability to implement and support enterprise networking concepts (VLANs, L3 Routing, DHCP, DNS, NAT, IPsec VPN, SSL VPN, ACLs, VRRP, VPC, FEX, VMware vDS, ACI, SDWAN, ExpressRoute/DirectConnect, Virtual Network Peering in Private and Public Clouds) 3+ years of work experience with VMWare (Required) and Hyper-V (Desired) design, implementation, and administration Experience in providing onsite or remote support for hardware troubleshooting. Proven diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with direct focus on the source of problems to solve the problem quickly and effectively (Required) Experience with VMware networking concepts (Required) Experience with SAN protocols FCoE / iSCSI (Desired) Azure and/or AWS Cloud Migrations and Management (Desired) Experience with a support ticketing system Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Excellent customer service skills Show flexibility under changing conditions. Excellent time management Able to work both independently as well as within a team. Up to 20% Ability to travel. Participation in a 24x7 on-call rotation Preferred Certifications Cisco CCNA Cisco CCNP Data Center
