Company description: Our Client is seeking a Director of Sales with experience in selling digital transformation IT services to large healthcare providers in the US market. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to grow our business with large healthcare providers, including hospitals, health systems, and other large healthcare organizations. Role & responsibilities: Formulate and implement sales strategies to attain revenue targets and expand our market presence among major healthcare providers. Identify and nurture relationships with key decision-makers within prominent healthcare institutions, which encompass business leaders, departmental heads, CIOs, and IT directors. Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams, including delivery and marketing, to create and execute go-to-market strategies for new solutions and services. Oversee the sales pipeline, forecast revenue estimates, and provide regular updates to senior. management. Lead sales presentations and negotiations while ensuring the delivery of high-quality proposals and statements of work. Comprehend and articulate the value proposition of our solutions and services, illustrating how they cater to the distinct requirements of major healthcare providers. Stay well-informed about healthcare IT trends and emerging technologies, leveraging this knowledge to shape sales strategies and positioning. Establish and maintain robust relationships with technology partners and vendors. Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is required, with an MBA being preferred. A minimum of 10 years of sales experience, including at least 5 years of selling to significant healthcare providers. Demonstrated achievement in meeting sales targets and increasing revenue within the healthcare industry. A solid grasp of healthcare IT trends, challenges, and opportunities, encompassing electronic health records (EHRs), telehealth, and data security regulations (e.g., HIPPA). Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a talent for building strong client relationships and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with the capacity to devise inventive solutions to complex issues. Self-motivated and adept at managing multiple projects concurrently.
