Job Description

• Create and present interior design concepts in response to client needs.
• Should have worked with Turnkey Contractors; Knowledge of BOQ; Bill checking, Vendor Management, and client handling.
• Should have worked on sites.
• Create estimates, schedules, and staffing plans to complete projects.
• Use software to design, sketch, and provide drawings of proposed projects.
• Work with clients to define project requirements and develop design criteria.
• Estimate material requirements and costs, and present the design to the client for approval.
• Confer with clients to determine factors affecting planning interior environments, such as budget, architectural preferences, and purpose and function.
• Advise clients on interior design factors, such as space planning, layout and utilization of furnishings and equipment, and color coordination.
• Select or design, and purchase furnishings, art works, and accessories.
• Formulate an environmental plan to be practical, esthetic, and conducive to intended purposes, such as raising productivity or selling merchandise.
• Subcontract fabrication, installation, and arrangement of carpeting, fixtures, accessories, draperies, paint and wall coverings, artwork, furniture, and related items.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Illustrator or other design programs.
