Warehouse Team Leader 4 on 4 off Days Up to 11.80 per hour This position is based in Lacock Not Chippenham, so having your own transport will be essential* Our client is are looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to join their busy Packing Centre based in Lacock, Wiltshire. As a Team Leader you will support the Warehouse Shift Managers in leading a small team of operatives in scanning finished products efficiently and accurately in line with dispatch and customer requirements. Role: Warehouse Team Leader Salary: 11.80 p/h Location: Lacock, Wiltshire Working Hours: 06.00am 18.00pm, 4on/4off shift Role & Responsibilities: To assist the shift manager & the machine minder in the completion of all customer orders and stock build set out in the daily plan. Hands on management of the shift, ensuring effective running of all process whilst maintaining all aspects of Health & Safety, Quality and Productivity Delivery against required KPIs, whilst identifying areas for. potential improvements across costs, process, or policies Lead, direct and develop direct reports to ensure people are business focused and engaged. Maintaining the correct stacking, wrapping, storing and labelling of pallets in accordance with company procedures and customer specifications Ensure the warehouse operates to BRC global standards and legislative requirements Ensure effective communication is maintained with the wider management team, including regular shift briefing and accurate handovers Person Specification: Computer literate Good people and communication skills Able to motivate and drive a team Proven Health and Safety knowledge and focus Problem solving and taking the initiative Attention to detail Understanding of Working Time Directive and Agency Working Rights Able to communicate with people at all levels Qualifications / Experience: Essential Experience and Knowledge Previous experience within a Warehouse environment Management of a team Delivering to strict deadlines Preferred Experience and Knowledge Fast paced FMCG or food operations environment Experience of a Continuous Improvement environment, knowledge of 5S and a project management methodology If you are interested and would like to apply then please contact Ben on 07hidden_mobile for an immediate response, or alternatively please apply through this advert by submitting your CV.
