Position- Development Manager

Experience Required: Min 1 year (Any Field Sales)

Location: Dadar/Jogeshwari/Andheri/ Chembur/Panvel/Dombivali/Borivali/Thane/Navi Mumbai

CTC: Up to 4.25 LPA

Role:

1. Achieving unit business goals through quality recruitment and training of Life Mitra (LM)

2. Develop business segments as per company strategy with compliance.

3. Business should be of very good quality and should not be detrimental to the interests of the Company.

Key Responsibilities:

Achieving unit business goals through quality recruitment and training of Insurance Advisors (IA)

Develop business segments as per company strategy with compliance.

Business should be of very good quality and should not be detrimental to the interests of the Company.

To recruit team of Insurance Advisors of very high quality and standards as per the corporate strategy.

To ensure and maintain levels of productivity as prescribed.

To focus on and develop various business segments as per the sales strategy.

To train IAs with the help of L&D team.

To ensure that there are no unethical business practices by his / her Insurance Advisors.

To ensure that there is no anti selection against the Company and that the Company is not put to any financial loss due to poor quality of selection of lives either directly or through his/her team of Insurance Advisors.

To ensure high standard of quality of sales, very good quality of lives to be insured and very good quality of Insurance Advisors.

Adherence to Sales Quality policy of the company. The UM is responsible for the Quality of business sourced by his team as defined in the Sales Quality Policy, as amended from time to time.

 

Person Profile

Graduate with minimum 1 year of Any Filed sales experience, Experience in life insurance industry preferred.

Critical competencies

1. Sound Knowledge of IRDA regulations

2. Good Communication Skills.

3. Good team building skills

4. Good knowledge of underwriting and ops processes

5. Training and motivation ability

2) Branch / Divisional Sales Manager

5) Trainer

Measures of success

1. Achievement of sales targets and other parameters as specified by the company.

2. Compliance, issuance TATs

3. The Number of early claims should be very low under his group, very low number of complaints alleging misselling, unethical business practices or any other fraudulent practice in the course of discharging duty will have adverse impact on a UMs performance.
