experience 0-5 years candidate_profile Bachelor's/Masters in Geomatics/remote sensing/GIS/agriculture/geography/earth science GIS and remote sensing software expertise Knowledge of GIS data collection, quantitative and qualitative data analysis Demonstrate a keen understanding of spatial data and algorithms Knowledge of Crop mapping using Remote sensing techniques would be an added advantage Hands on with MS Office Good communication skills 0 to 5 years experience in core GIS/Remote sensing projects candidate_skills job_description Digitisation, editing and spatial data analysis Capture, on the ground information based on the plans and digital sources provided and perform various analysis on satellite data Capturing the Map and other related data into GIS software to enable an accurate calculation of the area for all the features Perform various image processing techniques like image classification, and gis analysis to bring out meaningful information and. results as per the project requirements Create and maintain the database necessary for GIS data storage Collaborating with colleagues in order to make sure that the maps prepared are stable and correct in agreement with the regional map standards and their location Preparation of regular status reports, highlighting matters requiring immediate attention Create maps, report writing and document procedures
