Job Summary Work as a strategic TA partner providing continuous support to SBU HR by efficiently handling all responsibilities related to Talent Acquisition function of the SBU(s) Key Accountabilities: Talent Acquisition & Retention: Partner with Business heads to understand recruiting needs Develop sustainable talent acquisition strategies to effectively recruit candidates and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates Evaluate candidates based on their performance in selection processes Co-ordinate with Corporate TA team for closing managerial assignments Identify critical talent and working on their retention and development Ensuring Quality of hire Competitive Mapping of Talent DIMENSIONS: People Management (Yes/ No): Yes Staff Reporting (If Yes): 2 or more Financial Activities (If Any): No CAPABILITY REQUIRED: Key Interactions: Internal Customers: SBU Heads, VP-HR HODs, Project Managers SBU employees, SBU HR team Corporate HR vertical. heads External Customers: Consultants Potential Candidates Knowledge & Skill Requirements (Abilities & Expertise in field) Personal Attributes Knowledge (Technical / Functional): Conceptual strength on HR business partnering (II) Conceptual Strength on Talent Acquisition (III) Communication and Negotiating Skills: possess high levels of verbal, written and presentation skills to be able to effectively communicate and co-ordinate with all levels of employees and superiors. Must have good listening skills (IV) Relationship building: has to ability to build and actively maintain working relationships and network of contacts to achieve the organizations goals (III) Leadership ability: (IV) Delegates work appropriately Get people moving in a common and consistent direction and get the work done through people Maximize the motivation that staff derives from their work Essential Skills/Expertise required: Negotiating and convincing skills (IV) Oral and written communication skills (III) Building robust and effective HR strategies (III) Creative thinking skills (II) BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES PROFICIENCY Delivery Focus: Plans timely in order to deliver as per schedule. Ensures accuracy and timeliness of outputs. Anticipates any possible roadblocks that might come in the way of delivery and fixes them in order to meet timelines. III Cost & Profitability Focus: Plans timely to achieve targets within budgeted cost. Comes up with innovative ways to increase profitability by way of seeking additional workforce/ revenue on the same project to increase margins. Focuses only on must do expenditures. III Cross Functional Team Work: Takes efforts to understand the impact of his/ her actions on other departments. Treats and expects other departments as internal customers. Regularly interacts with other departments. III Ownership and Accountability: Does not pass the buck. Takes ownership of his/ her responsibility area. Owns up an assignment and makes all the efforts to overcome the obstacles. Ensures delivery of target instead of waiting for others to finish their part IV JOB SPECIFICATIONS: Experience Required: Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in Talent Acquisition Special Requirements (If any): Essential Travel Frequent (30%-50%) Qualification MBA in HR (premier institute) Desirable Proficiency Level Proficiency Level Definition IV (Mastery) Is a role model and inspiration for others to follow III (Advanced) Has an ability to develop and train others on the capabilities II (Proficient) Have a superior understanding through practice and regular application I (Basic) Have a fundamental understanding and can explain to others
