Job Title: Regional Sales Manager
Location: Surat
Experience: 3 to 4 Years
Salary Range: 25k to 30k
Working Days: Monday to Saturday
Job Purpose: A Regional Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, meeting sales targets, and ensuring effective implementation of sales strategies within a designated geographic region. The primary focus is on overseeing and managing the sales activities and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy:
Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to achieve sales targets and objectives for the region.
Team Management:
Recruit, train, and manage a team of sales representatives or account executives within the region.
Set sales targets for the team and provide coaching and guidance for goal achievement.
Territory Analysis:
Analyze the region to identify potential market opportunities, customer segments, and competitive threats.
Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and clients within the region.
Conduct regular meetings and communication to understand customer needs and address concerns.
Sales Forecasting:
Create sales forecasts and budgets for the region.
Track sales performance and report progress to senior management.
Product Knowledge:
Stay knowledgeable about the company's products or services.
Effectively communicate the value of products to customers.
Sales Training:
Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the sales team to improve selling skills and product knowledge.
Performance Evaluation:
Assess the performance of sales representatives through regular reviews and evaluations.
Provide feedback and implement performance improvement plans when necessary.
Sales Process Improvement:
Continuously improve sales processes and methodologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Market Expansion:
Identify opportunities for market expansion and growth within the region.
Explore opening new sales channels or entering new markets.
Compliance:
Ensure the sales team adheres to all company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations.
Reporting:
Generate reports on sales activities, results, and market trends.
Provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong negotiation skills and a proven track record in sales and customer service.
Outstanding supervisory and leadership skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
Proven experience in sales management with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
Proficiency in sales software and CRM systems.
Willingness to travel within the region as needed.
