Job Title : Area Sales Manager Job Location : Kanpur,Uttar Pradesh Min 6+ Yrs Experience required in Pump industry Job Summary: The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the sales in their specified region for a Pump Industry. This includes developing and implementing sales strategies, achieving sales targets, building and maintaining customer relationships. The person will also be responsible for market analysis, sales forecasting, and reporting to senior management. Responsibilities: Develop and implement sales strategies and goals for the region to achieve sales targets and revenue growth. Monitor and analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, dealers, and other stakeholders in the region to promote business and achieve sales objectives. Conduct market analysis to identify market. trends, customer needs, and competitor activities. Prepare sales forecasts and budgets for the region, monitor progress, and report results to senior management. Provide regular sales reports, including sales performance, market share, and competitor analysis. Identify and address sales challenges and provide recommendations for improvement. Identify customer needs and provide appropriate solutions, including product recommendations, pricing, and services. Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and satisfactory manner. Conduct customer visits, sales presentations, and product demonstrations as needed. Build and maintain a strong brand image and reputation in the market through excellent customer service and relationship management. Qualifications & Experience: Masters or Bachelor's degree in business management or related field. Proven experience in sales management, in the Pump industry. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and customer needs to develop sales strategies. Ability to travel within the region as and when needed. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
