The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process for IT-related products and services. The IT Executive - Purchase will collaborate with various departments to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of hardware, software, and other IT assets. Roles and Responsibilities - IT Purchase Executive: Evaluate potential vendors based on their reputation, product quality, pricing, and reliability. Should have great and thorough knowledge of IT products such as, laptops, desktops, switches, servers etc. Decide on the most suitable. vendors for specific IT products or services. Decide on the appropriate procurement methods for different IT requirements. Develop procurement strategies based on business needs, budget constraints, and market conditions. Make decisions to ensure that all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements. Allocate budget resources effectively, balancing the need for cost savings with the requirement for high-quality IT products and services. Decide on quality standards and ensure that all purchased products meet or exceed these standards. Collaborate with internal sales teams to understand their customer requirement. Monitor and track the status of purchase orders to ensure timely delivery. Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and vendors. Work closely with the finance department to control costs and ensure budget compliance to execute order. Manage and maintain reports , ensuring accurate and up-to-date information Assess and make decisions on potential risks associated with vendor relationships, market fluctuations, and product availability. Decide on the adoption of new technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Make decisions regarding contract terms and conditions, including the inclusion of service level agreements (SLAs) and warranties. Decide on the renewal or termination of contracts based on performance and business needs. Manage resource allocation within the team to meet project deadlines and organizational goals. Identify and address operational challenges promptly. Collaborate with team members to develop solutions and implement improvements. These decision-making points are crucial for the IT Executive - Purchase to effectively contribute to the success of the organization's IT procurement function. What type of Candidates are we looking for Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT Management, or a related field. Proven experience in IT procurement or a similar role. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Familiarity with IT products and services. Knowledge of procurement best practices and legal requirements. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
