Please see the following position summary:Position: Head of Procurement - Pharma Intermediates & Excipients Minimum Experience: 10+ years in domestic/international procurement in Pharma Intermediates & Excipients Reporting to: Founder & CEO Job Location: Gurgaon, Haryana Role & responsibilities: To plan, initiate, and establish the growth of the company's business in specialty chemicals. To lead all sourcing related activities in the organization Developing new opportunities by identifying market demands and building partnerships. Must demonstrate competence in management, networking, and target marketing to specific prospects, and have advanced selling skills/negotiation skills, along with the ability to mentor a team to those same disciplines. Ability to develop progressive marketing strategies with an ambition to take the business to the next level Design, implement, and facilitate annual marketing plans for the organization. Support and facilitate the. development and implementation of business/marketing plans Developing personal network within and outside the organization through meetings with customers and consultants in various forums and conferences. Candidate profile: 10+ years of experience in international sourcing in Specialty Chemicals is a MUST. Preferred industry experience: Pharmaceutical Intermediates and excipients Should have procurement experience from China & Europe, worked with over 50 international companies Deep understanding of the chemical supply chain including sourcing, credit management, and fulfillment 4+ years of experience in managing and leading a procurement team Bachelors/Masters in Chemical Engineering; MBA preferred Candidate should be open to working in a young dynamic startup Should have worked with leadership teams Perks and Benefits Perks and benefits The role offers a competitive salary, plus generous incentives.
