Job Description

Fresher with Bachelor in Civil/Electrical Engineering. MS office, AutoCAD preferred, MS Power Point. 0-2 years Experience. Responsible for retrofit and improvement works in campus which can be civil structural, masonry & interior works related to external and internal infrastructure. Maintenance of utility equipment like 11 KV substation, DG system, Centralized air conditioning district cooling system etc. The incumbent as an Intern will report to the Manager / Sr. Manager- Engineering. ISB Mohali is LEED Platinum certified campus and spread across 70 acres campus with 0.8 million SFT of built-up area. The incumbent shall be responsible for the following: Preparation of BOQ, costing and value engineering for retrofit works. Day to day monitoring of works and ensure quality of the execution. Measurement and billing for retrofit and development works. To work with reporting manager on ensuring operational readiness for new infrastructure projects before taking over from. contractors/PMC Follow up with internal department for timely material procurement and payments to vendors/contractors. Preparing MIS for energy and water consumption Support Manager/Sr Manager in statutory and audit processes Documentation control Knowledge of SAP preferred. Knowledge of AutoCAD preferred. Customer relation- All the queries of the customers in the respective stream are addressed by the incumbent in consultation with the Manager/ Sr. Manager - Operations. Team collaboration- S/he needs to engage with the service providers and ensure quality check on an ongoing basis in his respective stream. S/he needs to generate a consolidated complaint matrix and discuss the action plan with Manager / Sr. Manager Operations (Engineering) on the long pending issues also periodically. Has to coordinate with commercial on the right material procurement and coordinating with finance on the vendor payments. Vendor management S/he needs to coordinate with multiple vendors in coordination with commercial on operations procurement and work execution Equipment Health & Safety S/he has to implement and adhere to the 52 week PPM calendar on respective stream and close if any technical issue in a minimum time. Cost conscious Control and monitor the budget and discuss with the Reporting Manager on the solutions to optimize the same. Has to identify wastage and find ways to reduce consumption of energy. And has to control the inventory and optimize the procurement process. External agencies S/he needs to take care of all statutory requirements and maintain relations with Govt agencies.
