Job Description

Position Summary:

We are looking for a Business Development Manager responsible for establishing and managing the sales activities for our Print & Advertising department. A self-starter and excellent team player, and someone capable of devising and executing revenue-generating business development plans and working closely with the key senior colleagues to develop presentations, pitch work and take responsibility for the conversion of prospects into long-term valuable clients.

Responsibility:
  • Communicating with target clients and managing customer relationships
  • Identifying new business opportunities and managing sales throughout the process
  • Schedule appointments, prepare and deliver presentation to the client, having researched their business and requirements
  • Managing the production of marketing co-laterals, including leaflets, posters, flyers, newsletters, e-newsletters and DVDs
  • Interacting with graphics designers and printers
  • Arranging the effective distribution of marketing materials
  • Maintaining and updating customer databases Conducting market research, for example using customer questionnaires and focus groups
  • Contributing to, and developing, marketing plans and strategies
  • Monitoring competitor activity
  • Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships
  • Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends
  • Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales
  • Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company s unique selling propositions and differentiators
Skills Required:
  • PG: MBA/PGDM Advertising/Mass Communication, Marketing
  • Years of Experience: 2+ years in business development in same Print & Advertising Industry Excellent English communication skills both written and oral
  • Networking, Persuasion, Prospecting, Public Speaking, Research, Writing, Closing Skills, Motivation for Sales, Prospecting Skills, Sales Planning, Identification of Customer Needs and Challenges, Territory Management, Market Knowledge, Meeting Sales Goals, Professionalism, CRM, and Microsoft Office
