1) Job Purpose
Conceptualise, plan, execute sales & marketing strategies for the Zone in Central-East Region of domestic markets. Maximize market share and profitability of Zone through appropriate Sales, pricing & product opportunities. Establish strong channel relationship both B2B & B2C through deep insights on product, market and customer segments.
Key Result Areas/Accountabilities Supporting Actions
1. Develop long term strategic plan for the Region : Prepare a detailed assessment and understanding of key demand drivers and trends affecting the industry and business. Develop detailed long-term sales plan, forecasting growth and profitability for the Region
2. Develop detailed sales and marketing plan and ensure implementation of sales plan as per targets : Develop plans for the vertical based on specific requirement of market, customers & Traders. Visit/ interact/ with all key Traders - ensure and monitor business as per plan. Monitor Market share, SoB / SoW of key customers as per plan.
3. Ensure achievement of Contribution, Secondary Cost Targets, Secondary Sales & Compliances : Prepare appropriate pricing strategies for B2B & B2C Customers Growth Strategies for Institution & Private Channels Negotiate pricing strategies with Key customers. Monitor costs, budget & District wise Contribution. Monitor GOI compliances
4. Subject Mater Expertise in Phosphatic Fertilizer Understanding of End2End value chain for customers (Production - Dealer Farmer). New product applications in close co-ordination with Agronomy & NPD team. Ensure knowledge enhancement of regional team members. Prepare strategies to increase share of value chain. Monitor Raw material Prices, imports and import prices & competition products. Close track on Government & State policies
5. Enhance Customer Satisfaction Plan and monitor Customer satisfaction action plans for the category. Ensure implementation of actions plans and changes as per customer suggestions. Ensure all customer complaints are resolved in collaboration with the Agronomy/Quality
6. Key Account Management Prepare detailed KAM plan for the category. Ensure detailed implementation of the KAM plan and monitor progress.
7. New Dealer, Channel Partner development Create a strategy to acquire new dealers, Channel Partners Implementation of new Channel partner development strategies.
8. Understand FCO Parameters & DBT Compliances Understand & Adhere to FCO (Fertilizer Control Order )norms Close co-ordination with Various State, LFS on DBT Sales.
