Job Description

• Preparing high quality meals for customers from the menu continental, Indian & fast-food and ensuring food is served in good time and well presented
• Working alongside the Front of House Supervisor to ensure good working relationships are maintained within a fast-paced and pressurized environment
• Working with the management team to develop menus using fresh, good quality and healthy ingredients for the cafe including meal ideas for special events & assisting with menu pricing
• Overseeing the preparation of food ensuring they match menu specifications and meet the quality standard and presentation
• Adhering to Food Safety Standards, maintaining high levels of cleanliness in the kitchen at all times we expect to maintain a 5* Hygiene rating at all times
• Keeping accurate records, including food hygiene records according to regulators guidance, staff time sheets etc, and provide performance reports as required by the management team 
• Developing supplier networks and ensure a good reputation for using high quality, locally sourced ingredients & controlling stock levels, monitoring wastage and ensuring that waste is kept to an absolute minimum. 
• Monitor and purchase food and supplies
• Any other duties proportionate with the role as required by management
