Preparing high quality meals for customers from the menu continental, Indian & fast-food and ensuring food is served in good time and well presented
Working alongside the Front of House Supervisor to ensure good working relationships are maintained within a fast-paced and pressurized environment
Working with the management team to develop menus using fresh, good quality and healthy ingredients for the cafe including meal ideas for special events & assisting with menu pricing
Overseeing the preparation of food ensuring they match menu specifications and meet the quality standard and presentation
Adhering to Food Safety Standards, maintaining high levels of cleanliness in the kitchen at all times we expect to maintain a 5* Hygiene rating at all times
Keeping accurate records, including food hygiene records according to regulators guidance, staff time sheets etc, and provide performance reports as required by the management team
Developing supplier networks and ensure a good reputation for using high quality, locally sourced ingredients & controlling stock levels, monitoring wastage and ensuring that waste is kept to an absolute minimum.
Monitor and purchase food and supplies
Any other duties proportionate with the role as required by management
