Job Description

Objective of the Role: To assist in Designing of in Road, Quantity Estimation and Detailed Project Report (DPR) with high quality, minimal errors , safety regulations and best cost. Major Responsibilities: Assisting in designing all highway design elements in line with the project schedule. Assisting and learning of design and Optimization highway geometrics, pavement crust and overall road cost. Learning of various contracts applicable to design work. Assisting and learning of design of culverts and Hydraulic Calculations. Learning of Road specifications applicable to various types of material used in road construction. ( MORTH Specification) Learning of Pavement design based on latest code of practice. Assisting and learning DPR preparation. Assisting in engineering surveys and field activities. Learning and understand the design of highway elements based on IRC and International code The engineer trainee is responsible for managing the data and all. the information related to the particular project he/ she is assigned to. The trainee is responsible to follow all the directions given by his/ her mentor. The trainee engineer is responsible for completion of all the assigned tasks in the given deadline. All tasks assigned are for the trainees own learning. The trainee is responsible to carefully perform the tasks he/ she has been assigned and keep the mentor updated about the progress of the task/ project. The trainee is responsible for reporting to his/ her mentor after the completion of each and every task. And present to the mentor a summary of the project Technical Skill Set Required: Good understanding of engineering Design. Knowledge of IRC codes and MORTH specification Excellent in estimations, material. Good in costing, cost analysis and rate analysis. Familiar with CPM scheduling software applications like AutoCad, Civil 3D and MX-Road
