Being located in Imphal, Imphal Machines aims to mitigate the challenges of distance, maintenance and services that other manufacturing hubs face. Role Description This is a part-time on-site role for a Mechanical Design Engineer located in Imphal. The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with mechanical and machine design engineering, product design and using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software to develop and improve upon the design of various mechanical systems. Qualifications Mechanical Engineering and Design Engineering skills Product Design and Machine Design skills Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software Ability to work. independently and collaboratively in a team environment Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field Experience in mechanical and machine design engineering is a plus Experience in the food industry or related manufacturing industries is a plus
