Job Description

This role will also involve driving strategic & digital initiatives for improving the efficiency of over all sourcing processes This role is expected to perform strategic procurement activities across multiple categories of spend and develop long-term partnerships with suppliers for improved Quality, Delivery, and safety at optimum Cost. Core Purpose of the Role: Responsible to Procurement activities of Projects [40% of the Spend] & production units [60% of the Spend] the day-to-day activities involve: o Hands on experience in Handling Civil, HVAC, MEP, IT Network, Safety, Fire alarm system and other mechanical commodities o Co-ordinate with Consultants from the stage of Project action plan, Macro & Micro Schedule, arrange Concept Design, Layout Drawing, Detailed Drawing & BOQ for Turnkey orders o Co-ordinate in Floating tender, finalization, Negotiation & Cost Savings o Floating of RFQ to Vendors through E-Procurement tool for Production PR's o Obtaining Techno commercial. offers and getting technical clearance o Preparation of detailed comparison statement capturing Last PO price, Internal estimation, arriving at a negotiation strategy o Conduct pre commercial negotiation with vendor's regarding commercial terms followed by price finalization & vendor shortlisting o Well versed in working with SAP ERP Tool o Good knowledge of handling Pharma projects involving setting up of Laboratories for carrying our research and development activities Role Accountabilities: o Ensure the PR to PO TAT of 7 days o Achieve Cost Saving of 15% from the approved Budget. o Co-ordinate with operations team to see that PRs are converted to PO's and material receipt as per the agreed timeline. o Shall be a Go-To person for all the material & service needs of projects including acting as interface between Vendor's and User's in getting the techno -commercial offers and finalization. o Hands on experience in locating vendors for Turnkey orders for setting up of Lab infrastructure. o Sourcing right vendors & finalize the negotiation strategies with internal teams and close deals with best commercial terms o Techno commercial discussion with local & global vendors on Cost, Delivery, Freight & other terms etc. o Driving strategic initiative Working capital management, and Digital Initiatives like E-Procurement o Understand the Pharma specific requirements and develop the supplier ecosystem to meet the business objectives All employees will consistently demonstrate alignment with our core values - Excellence - Integrity - Professionalism 1. Experience: 12-14 Years in the relevant filed in a reputed corporate 2. Education: B.E/B.Tech/PG Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Production Skills and Capabilities o Ability to handle independent working, excellent stake holder relationship management skills both with internal and external stakeholders
