Hi, Years of experience: 10+ Description: The Mainframe Engineer is responsible for supporting and maintaining the transaction processing facility (TPF) platform. This includes the installation, customization, maintenance and administration of the TPF platform. The Mainframe Engineer is also responsible for assisting in the definition, design, coding, testing, deployment and support of all TPF applications. Responsibilities: Install, configure, and support the TPF platform. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve performance issues on the TPF platform. Develop and maintain TPF scripts and batch processes. Coordinate the deployment of TPF applications. Develop and maintain standards for TPF-related documentation. Manage and maintain TPF system security. Provide technical advice and guidance to junior staff. Develop and maintain technical documentation. Perform system and application upgrades. Assist in the development, implementation, and testing of TPF-related. projects. Develop and maintain technical relationships with vendors. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 3+ years of experience with TPF or related technologies. 8+ years of experience in a mainframe environment. Knowledge of TPF scripting, batch processes, and system security. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
