Department: Audit and Assurance Reports To: Chief Financial Officer Position Type: Contract Job Summary: As a Project Manager in our Audit and Assurance department, you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing our audit projects, ensuring they are executed efficiently, effectively, and in compliance with all regulatory standards and company policies. You will coordinate with various teams, including HR, Compliance, Legal, and Vendor Management, to ensure comprehensive assurance across all facets of the organization. Your expertise in project management, audit standards, and risk management will help our organization maintain the highest levels of integrity and compliance. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning and Execution Develop and implement detailed project plans for each audit, including scope, timeline, resources, and budget. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of audit projects. Monitor project progress. adjusting plans and resources as necessary to meet deadlines and objectives. Risk Management Identify potential risks associated with audit projects and implement strategies to mitigate these risks. Ensure that all audit activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Stakeholder Management Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications, ensuring clear and timely updates to stakeholders, including management, the board, and external partners. Manage expectations and address any concerns or issues that arise during the audit process. Quality Assurance Implement quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of audit findings and reports. Review audit work and documentation to ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulatory requirements. Team Leadership and Development Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary audit team, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform effectively. Reporting and Documentation Prepare and present comprehensive reports on audit findings, recommendations, and actions taken, ensuring transparency and accountability. Maintain meticulous records of audit processes, decisions, and outcomes for future reference and compliance purposes. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Masters degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CPA, CA) is a plus. Proven experience as a Project Manager or Audit Manager, preferably in an audit and assurance context. Strong understanding of audit standards, compliance regulations, and risk management principles. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and under tight deadlines. High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail. Preferred Skills: Experience with audit software and project management tools. Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Negotiation and conflict resolution abilities
