Solar Design Engineer @ KPN Promoters

Job Description

Qualifications: - Completed B.Tech in electrical and mechanical engineering. - At least 1 year of experience in designing commercial PV Solar projects. - Proficient in AutoCAD, Google Sketchup, MS Office, and PVsyst software. - Familiarity with various types of PV solar modules, inverters, and mounting structures. Responsibilities: - Prepare design drawings, documents, and calculations for solar projects. - Create Bills of Materials (BoM), Bills of Quantity (BoQ), and Request for Quotation (RFQ) for entire solar plants. - Collaborate with the Projects team daily to understand project requirements and optimize designs. - Design DC and AC sides of solar systems, including PV stringing calculations, switchgear rating, cable sizing, earthing, and lightning arrester calculations. - Coordinate with the Projects team to address installation challenges. - Interact with clients to discuss design aspects. - Generate PVsyst reports to estimate the yield generation of solar plants. - Maintain. internal data and documentation. Skills: - Strong communication skills. - Ability to manage engineering design projects. - Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. - Proficiency in technical calculations and software tools. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
