Datametica is a product company located in Pune & Hyderabad, with expertise in transforming legacy database systems and ETLs to cloud-based data warehousing. They empower businesses by automating and accelerating the data migration process to the cloud. Datametica's suite of products include Eagle - Data Warehouse Assessment & Migration Planning Product Raven - Automated Workload Conversion Product Pelican - Automated Data Validation Product The Architect is a senior level position. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in designing, leading and implementing software products/applications on the Python Platform. This role will involve gathering requirements, designing and leading the engineering team in building Python based products/applications. It is a very challenging role with an opportunity to build innovative Cloud Based solutions. Required Skills and Abilities : Overall 10 plus years of experience in IT industry, preferably from product. organisation at the moment (or the recent past) Minimum of 2 plus years of experience as an Architect mentoring and guiding an engineering team in implementing python based solutions Minimum of 5 plus years of experience in designing, implementation, and testing of Python applications, hands-on experience in Core Python Hands on experience in regex (regular expression) Experience with python libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Requests etc . Knowledge of at least one Python Web Framework such as Django, Flask, etc. Should have hands-on to any two Cloud Environments (GCP / AWS / Azure / Snowflake) Should have working knowledge of RDBMS, interacting with DB using SQL as well as programmatically Experience of unit testing frameworks like pytest, unit test etc. & performance testing . Proficient in Unix OS, Shell script Knowledge of creating a Python based framework from the scratch Should understand deployment and build automation Strong organisational, oral & written communications skills Strong problem-solving skills are essential Experience working remotely & as part of a distributed engineering team Exposure to Python Oriented Machine Learning Algorithms and Libraries is a plus
