Position Summary
Content Writer responsibilities include conducting thorough research on industry-related topics,
generating unique ideas for new content types and proofreading articles before publication. Social
media familiarity is an added bonus.
Responsibilities
-Generating articles on various mental health disorders and building awareness on the same.
-Creating concise, eye-catching and innovative headlines and body copy.
-Constant upgrading of knowledge on social issues like domestic violence, suicide prevention,
LGBTQ+ and new programs to reduce the stigma of the same
- Proof-reading PF's articles, letters, and other documents before broadcasts.
-Providing relevant information or resources specific to the school, college or community
where sessions are held.
-Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems
-Proofread and edit blog posts before publication
-Submit work to editors for input and approval
-Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles
-Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
-Promote content on social media
-Identify customers' needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
-Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
-Update website content as needed
-Conducting real-time interviews/case studies to curate more personalized articles
-Assisting in the building of the clientele and the business development of the organization.
-Creating all types of content as required by the Foundation
-Open to new ideas and projects as required by the organization.
-Representing the organization for collaborative meetings as and when required by the
organization.
-Multitasking and adapting to rapidly changing office environment.
-Provide regular reporting and follow-ups of the jobs assigned.
Required Candidate profile
Qualifications
Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role
Portfolio of published articles
Experience doing research using multiple sources
Familiarity with web publications
Excellent writing and editing skills in English
Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
Ability to meet deadlines
BA in Psychology, English, Journalism or a related field
Excellent command over the English Language (verbal and written)
Ability to empathize with the audience (Sensitivity towards audience)
A minimum of two years of experience in content writing
Experienced in Social Media amplification
