Job Description The Reliance e-commerce team is looking for ambitious software developers, who will think on behalf of the consumer and translate that into world-class experiences. Key Responsibilities Work closely with user experience designers during prototyping and creating proof of concepts Work with UX team to convert creative to presentation layer web pages using Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), HTML, Javascript. and React.js Responsive Design for a variety of platforms including smartphone's, tablets, and desktop web browsers Develop JavaScript using standard Frameworks Implement complex Ajax framework to facilitate. data exchange between the browser and the server Co-ordinate with server-side developers to integrate front-end code with the platforms backend Define and parse valid data interchange structures such as XML and JSON to integrate with back end services such REST based web services Write quality, testable, maintainable, and well-documented code Test across multiple browsers, platforms, and devices, including Smartphone's and tablets Work to develop common, rich user interfaces and reusable components for enterprise-class websites and ecommerce sites Set and maintain style sheets and patterns for all UI interaction points Create and evolve global visual user interface standards used across multiple touch points, to address business, brand, market, and consumer requirements; all the while following and/or redefining our style guide Profile the front-end of the e-Commerce application to identify performance bottlenecks Debug and refactor code as needed to improve performance bottlenecks What are the nature and scope of responsibilities the candidate should have handled Experience converting visual designs to HTML with an acute eye for detail and design fidelity Strong understanding of GUI architecture, site navigation and web design principles, and the ability to create and maintain web pages quickly and efficiently Extensive web programming experience including web security, cross browser compatibility, and performance tuning Development experience in the area of: Responsive design/development and mobile device applications and optimized Web sites Hands on design & development skills in HTML5, CSS3 & JavaScript, Anjular.js and React.JS Knowledge of W3C standards, Web accessibility Hands on experience with Object oriented JavaScript and Design Patterns Extensive experience in at least one of the modern frameworks like React Js/ Angular JS with NodeJs Experience with packaging tools like Gulp/Webpack & code repositories like Github. Knowledge & Skills Strong knowledge of one or more of the following mobile libraries / toolkits - JQuery Mobile, Bootstrap etc. Web Services integration using JSON/XML, REST Basic understanding of OOPs concepts Experience in working on React.js with redux/flux Social networking: the use of popular Social APIs are a plus Exposure to Internet specific issues : e-mail deliverability, SEO, cookies, web sniffers, Firebug, search algorithms Familiarity with source control systems Well defined knowledge of eCommerce business processes, practices, and applications Familiarity and proficiency with current and emerging Digital Commerce platforms and technologies, including Java, Javascript, mobile and social platforms (ref:hirist.tech
