Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pastry Chef Instructor to join our esteemed faculty. The ideal candidate will have a passion for pastry arts and the ability to inspire and educate aspiring pastry chefs. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in accordance with City & Guilds standards. Responsibilities: Develop and deliver Certificate and Diploma courses in. pastry arts. Design and implement curriculum that aligns with City & Guilds guidelines. Conduct practical and theoretical classes to ensure a comprehensive learning experience. Provide guidance and mentorship to students, fostering their culinary skills and creativity. Assess and evaluate students" performance through practical exams, projects, and written assessments. Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and advancements in pastry arts. Collaborate with the academic team to continuously improve the curriculum and program offerings. Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills. Qualifications: A minimum of 1-5 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a reputable establishment. City & Guilds certification or equivalent qualification in pastry arts. Proven experience in teaching pastry arts courses. Strong knowledge of international pastry techniques, trends, and best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment. Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students. A commitment to maintaining high standards of education and professionalism.
