Job Description

Basic Mission We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Design Draftsman to join our growing team. You will play a vital role in the creation and maintenance of accurate and detailed technical drawings for our diverse range of products. Your responsibilities will encompass managing the drafting library, developing new product drawings, and ensuring efficient collaboration with various departments. Main responsibilities Create and update General Assembly (GA) and manufacturing drawings for new and existing products using advanced CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) Develop and maintain the company's drafting library, including standardizing symbols, templates, and parts lists Review and incorporate engineering changes into existing drawings Collaborate with engineers, salespeople, and production teams to clarify requirements and resolve drafting issues Generate accurate and comprehensive Bills of Materials (BOMs) for all drawings Conduct site visits to. collect dimensions and data for new product development Contribute to the continuous improvement of drafting processes and standards Train and mentor junior draftsmen Stay up-to-date on the latest CAD software and drafting techniques Relationships Hierarchic: - Reporting to Design Head - Co-Ordinate With Site Sales Team, Assembly Team & Production Team Key Performance Factors Quantity and quality of drawings completed on time and within budget Accuracy and completeness of BOMs Efficiency and organization of the drafting library Customer satisfaction with drawings Adherence to company drawing standards and procedures Proficiency in using advanced CAD software and drafting techniques Effectiveness in training and mentoring junior draftsmen Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (preferred) Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial drafting and design Solid expertise in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other advanced CAD software Comprehensive understanding of engineering principles and drawing practices Proven ability to manage and update a large drafting library Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Leadership qualities and willingness to mentor junior staff Drafting Experience in products like Bag Filter, Centrifugal blowers and pneumatic conveying systems Location Ahmedabad - Kubadthal (Works Address) 7.
