Job Title: Senior Network Administrator Location: Bangalore Job Type: Full-time Job Summary: As a Senior Network Administrator at Smart Grid Analytics Pvt.Ltd., you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the network systems to ensure they meet the needs of the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize network. performance, enhance security, and address technical issues proactively. Your expertise in network architecture, troubleshooting, and team leadership will be instrumental in driving our company's success. Key Responsibilities: 1. Network Design and Implementation: Design, plan, and implement complex network infrastructure solutions to meet business requirements. Assess and recommend network hardware and software upgrades to improve performance and reliability. 2. Network Security: Develop and enforce network security policies and procedures to protect the organization against unauthorized access and potential threats. Monitor network traffic for anomalies and proactively address security vulnerabilities. 3. Network Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor network performance and uptime, identifying and resolving issues promptly. Conduct regular system updates, backups, and patches to ensure system stability and data integrity. 4. Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnose and resolve network-related issues, providing timely support to end-users and team members. Participate in an on-call rotation for critical network incidents. 5. Vendor and Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with technology vendors to procure network equipment and services. Communicate with internal teams to understand their network requirements and provide solutions. 6. Documentation and Training: Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures. Train and mentor junior team members in network administration best practices. 7. Capacity Planning: Monitor network utilization and plan for future network expansion and growth. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). At least 3 to 6 years of experience in network administration, with a strong track record of progressively increasing responsibilities. Industry certifications such as Cisco CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE, or equivalent certifications, are highly desirable. Proficiency in network protocols, firewalls, VPN, and security best practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Leadership and project management experience is a plus
