Project Description: Luxoft has been asked to contract a Data Scientist in support of a number of customer initiatives. The primary objective is to turn statistical information into meaningful, actionable insights in the Telecom/network work environment. Responsibilities: Will work on customer facing use cases, such as anomaly detection, social engineering fraud prevention, etc. Build comprehensive summary presentations to executive and technical teams Turn statistical information into meaningful, actionable insights Proven ability to build a data science pipeline Leveraging advanced statistical techniques and machine learning models, including supervised and unsupervised learning Successful ability to apply data science to business problems, scientific research, marketing and other fields Mandatory Skills Description: Machine Learning, Data Science, Python, PySpark, Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field is. typically required. A Master's degree or PhD in these fields or in Artificial Intelligence is highly preferred. Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, machine learning, or a related field, with specific focus on LLM and foundational models. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python/Spark. Expertise in machine learning libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras. Familiarity with SQL or other database languages is also crucial. Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or Matplotlib could be beneficial. Foundational Models: Deep understanding of the theory, application, and creation of foundational models Machine Learning: Strong knowledge of machine learning techniques and algorithms, and a deep understanding of supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning. Natural Language Processing: Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques, including named entity recognition, sentiment analysis, and topic modelling. Statistical Analysis: A robust background in statistical concepts and applications. Data Manipulation: Ability to preprocess and clean data for foundational models. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets. Communication Skills: Ability to communicate complex AI concepts in a clear, precise, and actionable manner. This includes visualizing data in a way that is understandable to non-technical stakeholders. Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in teams with diverse individuals and skillsets. Adaptability: Given the rapidly evolving nature of AI, an eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies is crucial
