Expert in in Mainframe design technique as well as experience working across large environments with multiple operating systems/infrastructure for large-scale programs (e.g., Expert Engineers) starting to be firm-wide resources working on projects Is multi-skilled with expertise across software development lifecycle and toolset May be recognized as a leader in Agile and cultivating teams working in Agile frameworks Sought out as coach for at least one technical skill Strong understanding of techniques such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development, Cloud Development, resiliency, security Stays abreast of cutting edge technologies/trends and uses experience to influence application of those technologies/trends to support the business; may give speeches and outside the firm, writes articles Roles and Responsibilities: The role sought is for a Mainframe developer at Bengaluru - India Technology Center. Bengaluru team will be part of the. larger Global Application Development team based As a developer you will participate in design and development of Mainframe batches Participate in design and code reviews, incorporate performance requirements into design, and provide input to information/data flow. Comply with project life cycle methodology and adhere to IT control policies and guidelines. Incorporate corporate architectural standards into application design specifications. Identify applicable system platform, components, dependencies, document application specifications. Analyze performance issues and resolution recommendations. The individual will need to be very flexible with ability to react quickly to changing business needs. Must have hands on experience on COBOL, DB2, MVS Utilities, VSAM, CICS and JCL. Must have hands on experience on DB2. Must be proficient in creating views, writing stored procedures and performing code tuning
