Job description
Responsibilities:
Provide legal advice and guidance on debt securitization, IBC matters, asset reconstruction, and project financing to clients.
Conduct legal research and analysis on relevant laws, regulations, and precedents.
Draft and review legal documents, agreements, and contracts related to debt securitization, project financing, and asset reconstruction.
Represent clients in negotiations, arbitration, and court proceedings related to insolvency and debt recovery matters.
Liaise with regulatory authorities and stakeholders on behalf of clients.
Stay updated on changes and developments in relevant laws, regulations, and industry practices.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Law from a recognized institution.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in debt securitization, IBC matters, asset reconstruction, and project financing.
Sound knowledge of Indian laws and regulations related to insolvency, debt recovery, and project financing. While not mandatory, knowledge of Gujarat and Marathi languages, and some experience in Dispute Resolution would be considered favorably.
Experience in dealing with asset reconstruction companies, financial institutions, and corporate clients.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Membership in the Bar Council of India is mandatory.
