Below are roles and responsibilities :

Participating in requirements discussion, feasibility analysis, solution walk through and finalization
Design review
Estimation
Tracking, monitoring
Reporting Rag status, RAID status
Hiring strategy, team formation
Team handling, mentoring
Providing Feedback for team members for annual rating and appraisal
Client interfacing, demoing working software
Coordination between different stakeholders like dev, QA, solution team, onsite team, client etc.
