Job Description

Experience: 5 - 8 years
Relevant Experience: 4

Education Qualification: Graduate/Postgraduate

Responsibilities:
Design and build deployment environments using the AWS, Azure or any other cloud environment
Implementation of Application, Network and Data level security
Setting up Kubernetes cluster for application deployment
Ensuring high availability of all Production Applications
Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure
Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
Ensure audit trails are maintained and documented
Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
Develop, manage and test back - up and recovery plans
Carry out capacity planning
Ensuring that industry best practices for automation and scalability of assets are leveraged when necessary

Requirements
Experience with virtualization , containers and container management platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
Solid scripting skills (e.g., shell scripts, Perl, Ruby, Python)
Good networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP)
Have an excellent understanding and hands on experience with Virtual Machines, Containers, VM environments
Experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks (e.g.,Tomcat, JBoss, Apache, Ruby, NGINX)
Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting UNIX /Linux based environments.
Have a great understanding of networking design and architecture, including network administration in a cloud environment, setup and administration of server databases
Problem - solving and good analytical skills
Business awareness and understanding of business requirements of IT
A willingness to keep up to date with developments in new technology
Networking, Cloud certifications preferred
