Responsibilities:
Primary responsibility is to develop and monitor the design, implementation and test execution with Marvell host bus adapters and converged network adapters to ensure proper device operation under various PC platforms and operating systems.
Assist to design and develop the test plan and test cases based on Market Requirement Document (MRD), Product Requirement Document (PRD) and Engineering Functional Specification.
Provide the gap-analysis in the test coverage and develops the test cases to bridge the gap.
Implement process to effectively utilize equipment remotely between the USA and India locations.
Have the knowledge and experience on test life cycle, from test architecture, test design and development, test execution, test report and bug reports.
Provide support for field and/or OEM customer regarding to the gap in the test plan and test cases.
Must demonstrate ability to troubleshoot in complex Ethernet/RDMA, iSCSI, FCoE topologies.
Requirements:
6+ years of experience as QA engineers, with experience in validating of NIC/RDMA (RoCE/iWarp) or iSCSI protocol and device drivers.
Must have in-depth knowledge on networking/RDMA, including TCP/IP, UDP Protocol, RoCEv2,iWarp device driver, TOE. Knowledge on Fibe Channel or FCoE or ISCSI will be a plus.
Must have in-depth knowledge in any 2 of the 3 operating systems listed (1) Linux (RHEL and SuSE), (2) Windows (Windows 2016and Windows 2019), (3) VMware ESX.
Strong knowledge on DHCP, WDS, PXE, Switch configuration.
Good understanding on BIOS, uEFI, network boot concepts.
Must have knowledge on Various IBM, HP, Dell Chassis, Blade servers and Rack servers
Device Driver/Shell/Bash/Python scripts Knowledge is plus
CCNA, RHCE certification is a plus
Must have good communication skills (written/verbal)
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields and 6+ years of related professional experience.
