We support UN-Habitat with knowledge and expertise to improve the quality of life in rapidly growing cities around the world Position Overview: Engineer / Design Engineer (Roadway -Mobility) - Design Engineer for Engineering (Roadway) Design and 3D modelling for Design & Build and State DoT projects with proficiency in various Autodesk and Bentley tools as mentioned in Mandatory Technical Skills. Will have to carry out the design and. production of highway design, CAD production and 3D modelling. Experience in D & B projects concept design, Alternative design concepts and detailed design of projects, involved in construction support. Should have handled Design Build projects for any international projects. The specific UK or US experience is most desirable. Job Description : Engineer / Design Engineer (Roadway Mobility) Work Location: Noida, Bangalore, Hyderabad - India Essential Job Functions : Responsible for analysis and design of highways and roads. Design of horizontal and vertical geometrics for highways. Preparation of plan and profile drawings. Computation of quantities. Preparation of design reports; and, Ability to understand existing condition reports and surveys. Ability to lead and design D & B projects Should have handled a minimum of 3 D & B projects-overseas Should have worked in preferably the UK, USA projects Mandatory Technical Skills: Expertise in Civil3D, ORD, InRoads, Geopak, MicroStation and, AutoCAD, Navis works, is essential Experience with National Highways (England), DOT (Department of Transportation Florida, Georgia, or any other states of USA, 3D modelling through OpenRoads Technology. Highway geometric design; construction support drawings, Experience in MS Office software including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Full understanding of the UK. USA units of measure. Read, write, and speaks -English. Qualification & Experience : B.E / BTech in Civil Engineering with Masters in Transportation / Highway Engineering (Desirable) Minimum 3 years of experience in Design Consulting Environment as of December June 30, 2022. Minimum of 2 years of working experience for International Design Projects for Highway Design and minimum of 1 year of working experience for the UK. USA projects in Designing Highways / Roadways. Having work experience in Design & Build Projects is added advantage.
