ERP Technical Project Manager (Oracle) Retail Company in Ghana, Accra is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and oversee the implementation of an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system within their organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management, particularly in ERP implementations, and have a proven track record of successfully delivering complex IT projects on time and within budget. Responsibilities: Develop a detailed project plan outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements for the ERP implementation. Conduct a thorough analysis of the current business processes and requirements to align with the ERP solution. Build and lead a cross-functional project team, ensuring clear communication and collaboration among team members. Define roles and. responsibilities within the project team and establish clear reporting structures. Collaborate with ERP vendors and third-party consultants to ensure a seamless integration of the ERP system. Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors, ensuring compliance with project requirements and budget constraints. Develop and manage the project budget, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effectiveness. Allocate resources efficiently; balancing workload and skill sets to optimize project outcomes. Identify potential risks and challenges related to the ERP implementation and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively address issues that may impact the project timeline or budget. Establish effective communication channels with key stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, challenges and milestones. Manage expectations and ensure alignment between project outcomes and organisational goals. Implement and oversee quality assurance processes to ensure the ERP system meets defined standards and specifications. Conduct thorough testing and validation of the ERP solution before deployment. Develop and implement training programs for end-users to ensure a smooth transition to the new ERP system. Facilitate change management processes to minimize resistance and promote user adoption. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is desirable. Proven experience (5+ years) in project management, with a focus on ERP implementations. Strong knowledge of ERP systems and their integration with business processes
