• The On-prem Cloud Platform Engineering team provides services and solutions for the planning, design, implementation and support of operating systems, virtual infrastructure, storage, and backups
• Our vision is to provide these services and solutions with the highest level of reliability, availability, and agility in the most cost-efficient manner
• In doing so, we enable DTCC business lines to deliver their robust services rapidly and economically to both internal and external clients
• The Lead Infrastructure as Code (IAC) developer is responsible for providing infrastructure automation support across the Enterprise
• This candidate must be comfortable with IAC technologies with a software developer attitude backed with practical experience
• The candidate should also have DevOps experience as it relates to development and release processes

What Youll Do:

• Design, implement, and support automation within the infrastructure environment on-prem!
• Lead and/or assist key projects and work related to infrastructure automation on-prem.
• Effectively complete complex projects within aggressive time frames and budget parameters.
• Develop and produce timely metrics based on the required management platforms.
• Perform comprehensive evaluations of new features or product technologies resulting in insightful analysis and recommendation
• Collaborate with various collaborators groups and team members to design required solutions that meet DTCC standards for security, resiliency, and reusability
• Provide immediate support for production issues related to areas of expertise
• Provide support for off-hour / weekend implementation and Disaster Recovery tests as required
• Author system documentation and supporting documents to ensure transparency of design to minimize future maintenance costs
• Deliver targeted business outcomes by participating in the technical decision-making process
• Analyze changing business requirements to determine impact and optimal solution regarding defining the future state technical architecture
• Follow established DTCC requirements, principles and models that guide technology decisions for the enterprise (standard processes)
• Apply knowledge of technology trends and the practical application of existing, new, and emerging technologies to contribute to the decision-making process
• Monitor metrics to ensure system performance meets requirements
• Ensure adherence to the governance, standards and best practices established by DTCC
• Ensure delivered solutions enable infrastructure agility, scalability, and resilience to support required product needs throughout product lifecycle.
• Aligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately

Qualification :

Bachelor s degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Talents needed for Success:

• Minimum of 6 years of related experience.
• Expert knowledge of IAC technologies for on-prem.
• DevOps experience as it relates to development and release processes.
• Expert experience using Python, Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Unix Shell, and Powershell scripting.
• Working knowledge of the CI/CD tools Jenkins and Bitbucket.
• Working knowledge of RHEL, Windows, VMware (Converged, Hyperconverged), AWS (EC2s, Cloud Native Services).
