Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

1. The individual in this position must have strong technical knowledge of virtual machines (IaaS), (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS).

2. Ability to handle the L2 and L3 issues on Azure Windows VMs

3. Assessing the stability, security, and scalability of installed Azure Windows VMs.

4. Installing or upgrading Azure Windows VMs.

5. Should have good knowledge of Unix, Linux &, Azure. Should have knowledge on Network components VNETs. Subnets, NSG/ASG

6. Providing technical support for Azure cloud end users.

7. Should adhere to the SLA and Work on Incident and Change Management

8. Should have good experience in PowerShell

9. Should have knowledge about Azure Compute, Storage and Networking

10. Supporting existing and new application infrastructure in Public cloud

11. Maintaining server architecture security and creating system backups.

12. New VM creation, application setup and security compliance ( Hardening or VA )

13. Application & DB backup, replication & restoration drills

14. Cloud asset, resource management

15. Cloud DR setup & drills

1. Positive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering quality

Effective communication skills (written and verbal) to properly articulate complicated cloud reports to management and other IT development partner
