Assistant Manager Purchase

Designation: Assistant Manager

Department: Purchase

Formal education: BE Mechanical /Electrical/Electronics and Instrumentation

Professional experience: 10 to 15 years of experience buying bought out items like Junction Box / Cabling & Power cables / RRD /VFDs / L T & H T Motors, Local control panel, etc.

Major responsibilities:

Person with exposure to procurement of various bought out items like HT / MV / LT Motors, VFDs, LCS and LCP, Junction Box, Cabling & Power cable.
Ensure timely submission of supplier documents
Coordinate with internal stake holders for timely manufacturing clearance to meet project timeline
Coordinating with internal department and reporting project status
Maintaining records and ensuring proper documentation for Bought out items
Use of Auto GRN / DMS / Purchase Portal dashboard
Analysis for bottle neck
Manage Vendor relationship for respective category
Monitor vendor performance
Work to resolve conflicts for better cordination

Defined competencies:

Knowledge about costing / estimation.
Commercial knowledge about GST.
Exposure to Purchase and Procurement Management.
Industrial Engineering Practices, Drawing Readings, Process Planning, Time Estimations, and Supplier Market.
SAP MM Module Proficiency.
