Job Description
Role:
- We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in banking to join our dynamic team.
- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully leading projects within the banking sector, possessing a deep understanding of financial products, regulations, and industry trends.
Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional teams in the planning, execution, and delivery of banking projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Develop and manage project plans, including scope, tasks, timelines, and budgets.
- Identify and manage project risks and mitigation strategies.
- Assign tasks and delegate responsibilities to team members.
- Track project progress, monitor performance metrics, and report on achievements and challenges.
- Manage project resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and budget.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders, including team members, clients, and other departments.
- Proactively identify and address potential issues and roadblocks.
- Develop and implement corrective actions to ensure project success.
- Prepare and present project reports and presentations.
- Continuously improve project management processes and procedures.
Professional Experience:
- Should have IT experience around 8 years and minimum 3 of experience in project management, with a proven track record of success in delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Scrum). Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Candidate should be willing travel across india to customer sites for short term (1-2 weeks) or long term (6-9 months) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana).
- Strong leadership and team-building skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
