: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Plant Engineering to oversee the engineering aspects of our manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will possess a holistic understanding of manufacturing processes and technologies required to achieve desired results. From plant layout to utility. planning and process flow, the Head Plant Engineer will play a pivotal role in ensuring efficiency, productivity, and optimization within the plant. Technology Absorption and Implementation: Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in manufacturing engineering globally, with a focus on absorbing foreign technologies and adapting them for implementation in Indian plants. Evaluate new technologies for their suitability and feasibility within the plant environment, and lead efforts to integrate them into existing processes to enhance efficiency and competitiveness. Responsibilities: 1. Plant Engineering Leadership: Lead the plant engineering team in developing, implementing, and maintaining engineering strategies to support the manufacturing processes. 2. Holistic Approach: Possess a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes, technologies, and systems involved in plant operations. 3. Plant Layout and Design: Oversee the design and layout of the manufacturing plant, ensuring efficient space utilization and workflow optimization. 4. Utility Planning: Plan and coordinate utility requirements such as power, water, and HVAC systems to support manufacturing operations effectively. 5. Process Flow Optimization: Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall productivity. 6. Equipment Optimization: Utilize global knowledge of machinery and automation systems to optimize equipment selection, configuration, and operation for maximum output and quality. 7. Project Management: Lead engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budgetary constraints. 8. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all engineering activities comply with relevant regulatory standards and safety protocols. 9. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments such as production, quality control, and maintenance to achieve plant objectives and resolve engineering-related issues. 10. Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the plant, implementing innovative engineering solutions to enhance operational effectiveness. Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering. Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus. 2. 20+ years proven experience in engineering leadership roles within a manufacturing environment, with a track record of successfully engineering plants from design to final production. 3. Comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes, technologies, and systems, with a focus on equipment optimization and automation. 4. Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously. 5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a data-driven approach to decision-making. 6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. 7. Knowledge of regulatory standards and safety protocols relevant to manufacturing operations. 8. Proactive mind-set with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
