Job Opening : Safety - Manager,
Qualification: BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech - Chemical , along with PDIS/ADIS.
Experience: 12-20 Years.
CTC Range: Max CTC budget upto 35 LPA, based on experience. (Current Should not be less than 25 LPA)
Location: Vadodara (Baroda) Gujarat

Role and Responsibilities;

Responsible for managing safety functions, monitoring of safety policy, adhering to the compliance of safety standards.
Lead and support safety initiatives and processes to drive towards zero incident rate.
Identify best practices and lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce work process risks, raise safety awareness, and improve safe work practices.
Perform safety audits and inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards, and to ensure safety regulation compliance.
Investigate industrial incidents, near-miss cases and occupational injuries to determine causes, install preventive measures, and manage return-to-work activities.
Provide technical advice, coaching, guidance, and mentoring to employees on safety initiatives and necessary changes.
Monitoring, supporting, guiding for meeting timeline of all the safety activities.
Organize training programs to raise safety awareness of staff, suppliers and contractors.
Maintain the fire hydrant system, based on the site requirement. Expansion of the same as per the expansion of the production capacity of a new plant.
Participate in HAZOP and implement findings of the HAZOP reports and ensure the follow-up on the implementation is there. Conduct PSSR.
Design emergency preparedness plans and provide training for the same. Conduct mock drills on the emergency plans.
Initiate JSA process and conduct Job Safety Analysis for all roles.
Supervise work permit system and ensure its follow up.
Buildup of safety culture.
Visual Safety Management of the overall site.
Implementation of ISO 45001.

NOTE: The candidate should have experience in the chemical industry, and good communication skills.
